‘Paul’ 48, a full-time Construction Contracts Manager, has been working in the industry for five years. He was familiar with our charity and services through his company and had participated in a recent site visit from our #MakeItVisible team who delivered a wellbeing talk, offering support.

Paul was trying to cope with the tragic loss of his brother and experiencing overwhelming and extreme emotions. He had also suffered from a severe seizure himself, with frustratingly no medical cause identified.

Upon reaching out to us, Paul was offered counselling support. Recognising the importance of addressing his emotional and psychological wellbeing, we provided tailored counseling sessions to help him navigate through his grief and cope with the traumatic physical health event he had experienced.

Following the counselling sessions, Paul noticed significant improvements in his emotional wellbeing and was able to implement some of the coping mechanisms he had learned. He expressed feeling better equipped to deal with his thoughts and emotions, particularly regarding the loss of his brother.

Paul expressed sincere appreciation for the support received from us and feels more confident in his ability to handle future challenges.
