It’s not often a request goes out asking “who has the hairiest legs in the company?” but that’s exactly what happened recently at Wain Homes who were getting ready for their fundraising Lighthouse Day.
Gemmy Curley, Sales and Marketing Administrator at Wain Homes South West said, “It was my idea for the waxing event. As we have so many men in the building I thought this would be the ideal way to raise as much money as possible whilst doing something a little different!”
The ‘fundraising committee’ found the men in the building with the hairiest legs and put forward five ‘lucky’ or should we say ‘unlucky’ participants to take part. The reports we’ve received here at the Lighthouse Charity is that some dealt with the pain much better than others!
Gemma added, “We decided to support the Lighthouse Charity because the work they do is so important and relevant to us as a business, especially for the employees on site. We are extremely happy that we were able to support you and raise such an incredible amount.”
