Our event in Scotland West was a big success, after 2 years off. We are on target to have raised just under £25,000 from our event, with a further £1000, which was for the Jamaica holiday, regifted to us from the original buyer (Scott Carson from Persimmon Homes (East)) which was sold on at the National London lunch. Our total raised was aided by the brilliant auction skills of Jonty Hearnden, of Charity Fundraising Auctions who deserve a shout out, as well as our brilliant raffle ticket sellers. The girls (pictured) brought in around £4,500 cash on the night.
We were entertained by Peter Wright who regaled us with his stories about his time playing international Rugby Union with Scotland and the British & Irish Lions and the excellent Des Clarke, TV Presenter, Radio DJ and 1st Class comedian who concluded our night with a load of laughs.
We are very grateful to our Sponsors and Supporters, old and new, whose kindness and interaction on the night made this years dinner a huge success.
We were also delighted to accept the giant cheque donation from NWQA Group, who gifted the £10,000 donation and presented at the Edinburgh event, so this isn’t taken into account on our total from the night. Lauren Frew from NWQA presented the cheque to Ed Naylor at our event.
We can’t wait to see you all there again next year!
