Deans Civil Engineering signed up to Lighthouse Day in 2016 and held an office raffle to raise much needed funds for our charity. This year saw them support us once again with a “Beat the Pro” challenge at their annual golf day at Turnberry in late October. The day was a huge success and many of the guests were directors of construction companies who were already aware of the excellent work the charity does.
Rather fittingly, the backdrop to the day was the iconic Turnberry lighthouse, and even the rather ominous looking skies couldn’t dampen the spirits of the players.
Steven Deans, Managing Director of Deans Civil Engineering Ltd said, “We are delighted to donate the sum of £520.00 to The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity as a result of our beat the pro challenge. The Lighthouse Club charity provides an invaluable service and we are all very happy to participate and we will be looking to hold another Lighthouse Day in 2018”.
