The Oxford Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in England and most certainly the oldest in Oxfordshire. In 1922 the University acquired Southfield Farm and commissioned the services of the legendary Henry Shapland Colt to design the course, which is very much as it is today. Colt’s courses include the likes of Royal Lytham St Anne’s, Royal Portrush, Muirfield and Royal Liverpool (Hoylake)
EVENT ITINERARY:
- 8.30 am – registration with tea/coffee and bacon roll,
- 10.00 am – shot gun start. ‘Hole in one’ prizes on all par 3 holes with £10,000 prize at the eighth,
- 3.00 – 4.00 pm – pre-dinner drinks,
- 4.30 pm – 2 course evening meal.
