CONSTRUCT Concrete Structures Group (CONSTRUCT) held its annual CONSTRUCT Day at The Brewery in London on Friday 5 October with over 570 industry guests in attendance.
The day began with a networking exhibition and the chance for members to showcase their latest products and innovations to a captive audience. After a drinks reception, and entertainment from psychological magician, Sylar, guests were welcomed by CONSTRUCT Chairman, Steve Regan, who reflected on the year. He then handed over to Jo Fautley, Deputy Chief Executive of Build UK, who spoke to guests about the role Build UK has to play in the fundamental transformation of the industry.
During the day, guests raised almost £9,000 for the Lighthouse Club. CONSTRUCT Day provides an invaluable opportunity for networking amongst members and clients as well as announcing the winners of the CONSTRUCT Awards, showcasing the best in concrete construction.
