The East Anglia Annual Lunch, held on the 24th of November in Bury St Edmunds, enjoyed strong support this year, with attendees opening their hearts (and wallets). The event featured great entertainment starting with Barry Fry, the former football player and manager, who shared captivating his stories both on and off the pitch. Following him was the comedic talent of Paul Boardman, who skilfully brought laughter and a light-hearted perspective to proceedings. .
Our regional ambassador, Sarah Poirier, extending a warm welcome to all attendees and provided an update on the impactful support we have delivered throughout the year. The atmosphere was further enlivened by the traditional game of Heads and Tails, along with a £20-in-an-envelope challenge and an exciting raffle.
The generosity and enthusiasm displayed by those present made the East Anglia Annual Lunch a resounding success, reinforcing the supporting for our charity’s mission and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in organising the event and those who generously donated.
