One of our fabulous company supporters, Bolt Burdon Kemp, recently held a fundraising quiz night.
They decided to arrange a quiz night to get everyone together for a fun filled evening in their clubhouse. Alongside the quiz they ran a raffle with some great prizes such as paintballing, a spa day, champagne and restaurant vouchers to name a few.
They were joined by Head of Partnerships, Tom McConkey, who gave an insightful presentation about our vital work. The evening went really well and the team had a lot of fun whilst digging deep for us. The quiz was won by “Crack the WIP” who were rewarded with a meal out for the whole team.
Charlotte Dowson said: “At Bolt Burdon Kemp (BBK) we support those who have been injured as a result of negligence and many of our clients have been injured in construction accidents. The Lighthouse Club as a charity has values closely aligned with our own and we are keen to support the charity in the valuable work they do.
We are aware that the Lighthouse Club are the only charity that provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to construction workers and their families. They receive no public funding and rely solely on donations to help them carry out their vital work.
Overall we raised £711 for the charity which we were really pleased about!”
Thank you to everyone involved in organising the event and for your donation. We hope you all had fun and can’t wait to see what you do next!
