The recent Geberit BITA Golf Masters, held at Foxhills on the 17th September was a huge success. 24 teams battled it out on the day, with 105 guests for a stunning day of golf, with breakfast, full 18 holes, dinner, entertainment and prizes.
The winners on the day were Eleciserve, with Bobby Prendeville, Director of Eleciserve, also winning the BITA Masters Cup. Cavendish Professionals came in second, and Artel Scaffolding coming in third.
The event was made all the better with the excellent weather, and everyone enjoyed a hilarious evening hosted by popular comedian, Russ Williams, and BITA President, Paul Whitnell.
The day wouldn’t have been possible without the support of headline sponsor Geberit, who not only sponsored the event, but also purchased food and drink for the thirsty golfers during their rounds, and created a special competition for the putting green. They also sponsored the hole in one, with a cash prize of £10,000. We of course also have to thank Glencar who sponsored the breakfast and Enterprise Flex-E-Rent who sponsored the bar. Another thanks goes to Powerday who sponsored the T-Shirts on the day, these were extra special and made from recycled plastic bottles, 14 in total, and provided by OceanR!
After some spirited bidding in the room for football tickets, golf days and a signed Ronaldo shirt, as well as a very active silent auction. BITA have been long term supporters of the charity and are delighted to be able to continue their vital support to construction workers in crisis,
We are looking forward to returning next year for our Ambassadors Challenge Cup in the spring, and our BITA Golf Masters in September.
