Thanks to all the supporters and their guests who joined us at Oran Mor in aid of Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, Scotland West for the brilliant Big Band Jazz afternoon, with the fabulous Anchormen Jazz Orchestra and the amazing talent of the singers, led by Robert Steele of Scot Hoist.
The sell out audience partied the afternoon away to some of the most iconic music of the last century, all delivered in the unique way that only AJO’s 18 piece band and 2 more fabulous vocalists, Alan Cross and Emma Kurij, could.
We were delighted by an outstanding afternoon of pop, swing, funk, soul and Motown, as well as the opportunity to raise awareness of the work done by the charity and raised the amazing total of around £6000.00 in aid of the Construction Industry Charity.
Special mention to the generosity of The JR Group for the surprise donation of 2 rounds of golf at Loch Lomond Golf Course, which raised an excellent sum for the cause.
