As part of Bethell’s wellbeing initiatives, they decided to participate in the local Wilmslow 10k, to encourage their people to train and exercise whilst raising money for charity.
The event was a huge success, with 30 runners participating and it was a great to see everyone encouraging each other throughout the race. We also hosted a family and friends event after the race with children’s entertainment and a BBQ. Thankfully, the weather was kind to us!
The Bethell team raised a staggering £45,000 which was shared between three charities. The Lighthouse Club received £15,000 of this and raising so much was obviously a very proud moment for the team. Another memorable highlight was seeing the team together after such hard times during Covid. The sense of achievement from everyone who participated was amazing to see and for some was a personal highlight!
Bethell told us, “Mental health sits at the forefront of our wellbeing agenda. With our support, we hope to assist the Lighthouse Club Charity help people across the nation who are suffering with mental health.”
As well as raising a phenomenal amount of money for charity, team Bethell will also be joining our prestigious Wall of Fame web page for companies who have the accolade of raising over £10,000. Thank you to everyone that took part and for all your epic fundraising!
