The team at Bentley wanted to get fit whilst raising awareness of mental health issues in our industry and they’ve just popped over this update!
We wanted to do something that meant we could get together as a team after a long couple of years of Covid, and we thought it would be fitting to get outdoors and get moving, as of course this is one of the best things we can do for mental health!
The event was brilliant – fantastic atmosphere, and 5,000 runners on closed roads around London was just a great experience. Doing it for a great cause made the run even more enjoyable and meaningful. We struggled a bit with the last 2k and paid the price for peaking a bit early with the first 3k!
Jordan Roddis, Enterprise Account Manager for Northern Europe at Bentley Systems said, “The rates of poor mental health among construction workers is so alarming, that to support an industry that Bentley work so closely with every day was an easy decision for us to make. We’re so pleased to have supported the Lighthouse Charity and learn of all the amazing work they do to provide financial and emotional help to the construction industry. It’s a real privilege to be part of that. Thank you for what you do, from our team on behalf of Bentley Systems.”
