BCSA supports the Lighthouse Club at its National Dinner 2022

6th October 2022

The BCSA (British Constructional Steelwork Association) is the national trade association representing the constructional steelwork sector in the UK and Ireland. BCSA has over 150 member organisations including steelwork contractors for buildings and bridges, and companies in the steelwork supply chain.

One of BCSA’s main annual events, is its National Dinner and this year, 2022, was a fabulous celebration held at Madame Tussauds on June 30. It brought together 300 people from across the membership organisations and a number of guests. The last time a National Dinner was held was back in 2019, so after the pandemic with lock-downs due to COVID-19, everyone attending was happy to be able to meet again, mix in person and network

Every year, the Association selects a charity to raise money for at the National Dinner and this year our charity was chosen for its work supporting individuals and families in need within the construction industry.

“We were absolutely delighted that those who attended the national dinner dug deep into their pockets, to raise a grand total of £1660.00 for the Lighthouse Club. We hope this goes some way to continuing the excellent work of the Lighthouse Club to support individuals and families through difficult times.” comments Dr David Moore, CEO of the BCSA.

It was a star-studded night, albeit in wax form, for all attending to mingle with and grab a selfie! Thank you to all who donated on June 30 and BCSA for their continuous support.
