Every May Artemis support Mental Health Awareness and this year they promoted their Tools Down, Speak Up campaign to raise awareness of mental health issues and get people to start the conversation. Offering insurance claims handling and fulfilment services through to niche construction projects, they wanted to reach out to everyone involved with their work.
With a team of 30 people their fundraising challenge was to walk the equivalent distance of John o’ Groats to Land’s End four times with a goal of 6.5 million steps / 5,000km.They smashed their target and managed 6.8 million steps / 5,182 kms. So far they have raised an amazing £2140 but if you’d like to support them, then you can do so here https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/artemis-uk
Julia Hewett, Director at Artemis said “The Lighthouse Club is an incredible charity and one close to our hearts so supporting them was a no brainer – we’re so proud to have raised money to help them continue being amazing, our whole company is passionate about working with such a brilliant charity!”
As well as their fantastic fundraising, Artemis are also a valued Lighthouse Club Company Supporter and pledge an annual donation to help support the construction community. Thanks to everyone who stepped up to the challenge to help us make a difference.
