AKP Scotland had all our mouths watering when they told us about their Lighthouse Day cake sale and it was made even worse when we received the lovely photographs of tables laden down with cakes, buns, rocky roads and every imaginable sweet treat!
Akp’s work ethos – “Building Pride” – reflects their passion to deliver all forms of construction related projects to the highest standards. And so, AKP, have taken steps to ensure this passion to deliver high standard translates to their staff and their support network.
As well as holding a Lighthouse Day and raising much needed funds for our charity, AKP also purchased a construction industry helpline pack to ensure that their staff know where to turn to if they need support.
Natalie Spiers, from AKP said, “There’s no secret to the great reputation we have – we are good because we listen. And we want our staff to know there is always someone listening to them.
We wanted to give something back to the Lighthouse Club Charity by having a cake sale. The day was a great success with tablet to rocky road and celebration cake to millionaire shortbread all on offer.
