SCOTPLANT 2016 at the Royal Highland Showground in April was a great success. The biannual event even had the fortune to enjoy dry and sunny conditions for the duration of the two day gathering.
Sibbald Training, exhibited, as they have for the last decade, and ran an ‘Operators Challenge’ and ‘Kids Challenge’ allowing everyone of all ages to try their hands at the controls of a JCB 3CX Excavator and Hanix Mini Excavator respectively.
The fundraising challenges proved as popular as ever and raised £740 for The Lighthouse Club, Sibbald Training’s charity partner.
Sibbald have over the last 10 years raised around £20’000 for The Lighthouse Club and will continue to promote this very worthwhile charity and provide charitable funds at every event and fundraiser they participate in.
Managing director David Sibbald commented;
‘Our association with the Lighthouse Club has been ongoing for a very long time and to raise revenue for this good cause while having fun at the same time makes a great deal of sense to me.’
