The first HQR Summer Ball, an annual event for London’s high-end residential construction sector has raised over £54,000 with the proceeds shared between the Lighthouse Club and the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The Lighthouse Club received a staggering £27,150!
The knees-up was held in the Great Room at The Grosvenor House Hotel and hosted 660 guests, including agents, project managers, architects, interior designers, lawyers, financiers, surveyors, engineers, main contractors and specialist subcontractors.
Highlights included a three course dinner, a charity raffle and auction, magicians and dancing to the live 8-piece Hand Fulla Soul band and a DJ set till 1am.
Event Organiser, Kelly Gower of Walter Lilly: “Months of hard work and planning really paid off and it was fantastic to see so many prominent HQR companies in one room having a great time. The inclusion of husbands, wives and partners went against the norm, but was the icing on the cake. With a fantastic £54,000 being raised on the evening for our two chosen charities, there are 54,000 reasons to look forward to HQR 2017!”
To everyone involved in the organising of this event, thank you so much from everyone at the Lighthouse Club Charity
