There was a great turnout on Sunday at Emerson’s second annual family fun day at the May and Bakers Club in Romford. The annual event is held for all Emerson employees to bring a long their families to enjoy a day of food, rides, raffle and entertainment.
Every year Emerson’s use it as an opportunity to do something good and raise money for a chosen charity, this year the selected charity was The Lighthouse Club who’s purpose is to help relieve poverty suffered as a result of accident or disability or ill health by persons employed or formerly employed within the building and civil engineering industries and allied trades in the UK.
Through this years raffle we managed to raise an amazing total of £1,215 forThe Lighthouse Club. We would like to say thanks to our suppliers for their raffle prize donations including Liebherr, Tadano, Volvo, Total Teamwear, The Printing Place, Essex Business Machines, J&M Belts, Kranlyft, Shift Traffic Management, Tubeline and Enfield Safety to name a few.
We would also like to thank everybody for coming along to the day – we can’t wait to see you all again next year!
