The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity is delighted to announce that The Irish Post is now the charity’s official media partner for their 60th Anniversary year.
The partnership has been forged to build a closer relationship between The Irish Post and the Lighthouse Club’s respective communities and for The Irish Post to support the charity’s fundraising efforts across Britain. The Lighthouse Club will benefit from an extensive programme of promotional and editorial activity aimed straight at the heart of the Irish Community via the newspaper’s weekly print edition and digital channels. The Irish Post will be active and visible at Lighthouse Club events and through branding on charity campaigns.
Bill Hill, CEO of The Lighthouse Club, commented: “There is no doubting the Irish constitute a major influence in the construction industry and we are delighted that The Irish Post has chosen our charity as media partner. We look forward to working with The Irish Post to foster and develop business networking within the construction community and raise much needed funds for our cause.”
Sarah Murphy, Commercial Manager of The Irish Post, added: “The narrative of the Irish emigrant experience in Britain is intrinsically interlinked with the construction sector and the Irish contribution to the industry needs to be continually championed and supported during times of hardship. The Irish Post, serving as the voice of that same Irish community for almost 50 years, is delighted to be able to give something back by supporting The Lighthouse Club. We look forward to strengthening a close working relationship during this special year and well into the future. I would like to take this opportunity to wish the Lighthouse Club a very happy 60th Anniversary.”
The Irish Post is the biggest selling newspaper to the Irish in Britain and www.irishpost.co.uk is the biggest daily media site for the Irish in Britain.
